Mojawa

Is Run Plus right for your listening routine? The key choice is phone playback on land versus stored audio for swimming.

THE SHORT VERSION

Our take

Shortlist Run Plus for swimming if you are happy to prepare audio for its onboard MP3 mode. Skip it for that purpose if you expect to stream from your phone underwater. For running with a phone, decide whether you want an open-ear design before paying for swimming features.

Worth knowing

  • Run Plus provides separate Bluetooth and onboard MP3 listening modes.
  • Its product page includes swimming setup instructions.

Before you commit

  • The manufacturer directs swimmers to MP3 mode; phone streaming underwater is not the intended setup.
  • Features differ between editions, and an unfamiliar frame still needs a fit check.

How we would choose

1. Choose playback before choosing a color

For swimming, plan on Run Plus’s MP3 mode. Mojawa tells users to disconnect Bluetooth for that use. If your plan depends on streaming from the phone while underwater, this is the wrong setup for that plan.

2. Make sure you can load the audio you want

Before ordering for a swim, establish that you can obtain supported audio files and transfer them using the product’s instructions. A playlist saved inside a subscription app is not proof that you have transferable files. Resolve that step before spending.

3. Compare the exact edition

The Run Plus page offers different editions. Match the selected version to the features you need and its manual. We would not make a battery-life ranking from a page that mixes editions and multiple runtime figures.

4. Treat fit and water use as separate questions

A swim-capable model still needs to sit properly with your glasses, cap or headwear. Follow the selected model’s water-use and care limits. Read warranty exclusions before assuming water-related damage is covered, and retain proof of purchase.

Questions worth asking

Can I stream music from my phone while swimming?

Do not buy Run Plus expecting that setup. Mojawa explicitly directs swimmers to disconnect Bluetooth and use MP3 mode.

Do I need the MP3 feature for running with my phone?

Not for ordinary phone playback. It becomes useful when you want stored audio without relying on the phone; decide whether that use justifies the model for you.

Which edition should I choose?

Choose the edition whose documented features match your use. The product page contains multiple versions and runtime figures, so confirm any deciding specification for your selected version before paying.
