THE SHORT VERSION

Our take

Start with a HYTE case that fits your complete parts list and cooling plan. Choose the regular Y70 when you want that case layout without a built-in touchscreen; consider Y70 Touch Infinite when the display is a feature you genuinely want to use. A screen is a customization purchase, not a substitute for the hardware that runs your games.

Worth knowing

  • The Y70 range offers a standard case and a touchscreen-equipped version.
  • The reviewed Y70 listing identifies a dual-chamber layout and an included PCIe 4.0 riser.

Before you commit

  • A case listing is not a complete gaming PC.
  • Advertised component support does not resolve every cooler, cable and expansion-card combination.

Which option makes sense for you?

How we would choose

1. Budget for the working computer first

Decide how much is available for the full build, then allocate the case budget. A display-equipped case can be a worthwhile aesthetic choice, but preserve the budget needed for the processor, graphics card, memory, storage and cooling that meet your actual workload.

2. Validate the complete fit, not just motherboard format

Compare the specific GPU’s dimensions, cooler or radiator assembly, power supply and expansion cards against the case manual. The Y70 layout includes vertical graphics and half-height rear expansion positions. If you need a particular add-in card, resolve its space and position before assuming that an ATX motherboard label guarantees the whole build fits.

3. Choose whether you will use the touchscreen

HYTE describes Y70 Touch Infinite as having an integrated touchscreen with Nexus customization. Buy it when that display is a feature you want to configure and see regularly. If the case will sit out of sight, the regular Y70 may be the more sensible starting point. An optional display upgrade is a separate item; do not confuse its listing with a complete case.

4. Price the cooling and cables still needed

The reviewed Y70 includes a PCIe 4.0 riser, but confirm the selected case’s entire box contents before ordering accessories. A fan mount is capacity for a fan, not proof one is supplied. Plan fans, radiator clearance and required connections together, then compare the complete build cost.

Questions worth asking

Is Y70 Touch Infinite a complete PC?

No. It is a case with a display. A complete computer requires the other components; read the exact listing if you are shopping a separate prebuilt system.

Will the touchscreen improve gaming performance?

It is a display and customization feature. Do not prioritize it over the components needed to meet your gaming performance target.

Does the regular Y70 include the touchscreen?

The regular Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite are separate choices. HYTE also sells a display upgrade separately; select the exact case or upgrade you intend to buy.

Can I assume every advertised motherboard size means my entire build fits?

No. GPU, cooler, power supply, cables and expansion-card placement also need to work together. Compare the full parts list with the case documentation.
